One of the things I hate is when asked to explain things, someone replies, “It’s too complicated.”
“Why are gas prices so volatile? Why, while the price of oil has continued to drop, has the gas prices gone up $.50/gallon?”
“Why should CEOs that epically failed at their job need to be paid more than $500,000 a year?”
“Why is our economy in the crapper?”
“It’s too complicated.” To this, I disagree. The truth is they are either trying to hide something or they are socially stunted and lack the communicative skills to explain it.
I wish I knew enough about the different industries to explain everything myself, but I don’t. However, through my internet journeys this week, I did find a link to a video that does an excellent job explaining what went wrong in the real estate market and why it is effecting the economy as a whole.

It’s also nice when things are designed so well. Beautiful motion graphics right there.
