or, at least, with naked feet. The idea of running barefoot to strengthen one’s shins and stabilizing muscles in the foot is not new (my track coach had us run barefoot in high school many many moons ago), but it is gaining popularity. I’m stepping up my running game and I’m thinking of jumping on the bandwagon.

Wired magazine just published an article about the pros and cons of barefoot running.

I’ve got to start slow and I don’t want to run barefoot with all the glass and rocks around here, so I’m going to get a pair of Vibram FiveFingers:
